Hip-hop stars Snoop Dogg, below, and Sean 'Diddy' Combs have been forced to cancel Monday night's London gig and the remainder of their UK concerts after visa problems.

Snoop Dogg was refused a visa to enter the UK by the country's Foreign and Commonwealth Office and attempts to reverse the decision were unsuccessful.

Authorities have not said why his visa was declined, but last year the rapper received a police caution for a fray following a fight in a lounge at London's Heathrow Airport.

Days after his caution in May last year, the UK Home Office said Snoop, real name Calvin Broadus, would be banned from the country for the "foreseeable future" because of his caution and his previous convictions for firearms and drugs offences in the US.

Despite the ban, Snoop and Combs scheduled five dates in the UK in March and April as part of their European tour, which they have now cancelled. - Wenn
