The popular Mazda 3 recently received a fresh look and is expected to follow in the footsteps of its predecessor. It comes with all the equipment it needs to steal many young hearts.

Adding to the emotional personality of its predecessor, the new Mazda 3 four-door sedan's image of modern elegance is further enhanced. The newly designed five-point grille expresses a higher quality feel.

The upper grille bar of the Mazda 3 Sport five-door hatchback is body coloured, to further refine the original's smartly energetic zoom-zoom styling. In addition, the 15-, 16- or 17-inch aluminium alloy wheels have been redesigned.

The new range comes with body-colour exterior mirrors and clear combination lamps standard on all derivatives. The rear bumper has a recess to allow for easy lifting of the boot.

Sleeker fog lights have been incorporated to enhance the car's confident look, as has a newly designed body-colour side spoiler, except on the 1,6i and Original models. All sedan models with the exception of the 1,6i and Original have been further enhanced with the addition of a body-colour lip-type boot spoiler.

Standard active safety items include four-wheel disc brakes, a four-wheel anti-lock brake system, electronic brake-force distribution and electronic brake assistance. An automatic light system and rain-sensing wipers are also available to enhance visibility.

Passive safety systems include a rigid body shell that provides collision safety. Other safety measures include standard front dual air bags. But side and curtain air bags are included on some models.

Pricing: Mazda 3 1,6i - R153990
