Killers close in on Aces

Batau Killers closed the gap on log leaders Mpumalanga Black Aces to one point after beating FC Benfica 5-1 in the Mpumalanga Vodacom League.

Aces played to a goalless draw against Secunda Eagles, their second successive draw.

With two games left in the season, the crown can go to either side.

Aces lead the race with 70 points after 28 games, while Killers follow with 69 points from the same number of games.

Killers' last two games are against Middelburg Saints and ELB Movers, while Aces play Walter Stars and Leandra.
