Three Fidelity Guard employees were injured after their vehicle overturned near Southgate Mall in Soweto yesterday.
The propshaft of the vehicle, which was carrying an undisclosed amount of money, broke.
Police spokesman, Angie Mokasi, said: "The guards sustained neck injuries."
Fidelity manager Janse van Rensburg said it was an unfortunate accident.
