The battle over which television channel will broadcast Premier Soccer League matches is still being fought.

The SABC and the PSL were in the Johannesburg high court on Friday, with the SABC trying to stop the PSL selling broadcast rights to other channels.

Though it does not guarantee a happy ending for the SABC, the broadcaster was satisfied at the court's decision to bar the soccer body from negotiating with other networks for one week.

However, e.tv recently applied to be considered one of the interested parties. - Dudu Busani
