Patricia de Lille has bravely accused 29 prominent people of corruption for allegedly receiving large illegal discounts in the arms deal.

These allegations have been around for some years. Surely if, as is claimed, they are not guilty, these people now at last have the opportunity to prove their innocence by suing De Lille in a civil court for defamation and libel.

If the 29 accused fail to insist on having their day in court then, as with Jacob Zuma, the public will naturally, even if erroneously, believe that there is no smoke without a fire and believe what De Lille is saying.
