Promoter Branco Milenkovic has announced that his Branco Sports Production consortium will be involved in three WBC International championship bouts on two different continents next weekend.

Milenkovic's marathon weekend gets under way next Friday at Orient Theatre in East London where Zukisani "Troublemaker" Kwayiba will defend his straw weight title against S'Thembele Kibiti.

Kwayiba, a novice of 10 wins in as many fights, won the WBC International title from Filipino Gabriel Pumar in September last year. Kibiti is a former South African champion. He boasts 17 wins and two losses.

Next Saturday, SA welterweight king Lucky "Babawazo" Lewele will challenge Alpaslan Agazum in Germany.

Agazum won the WBC International title in November last year after outpointing Joseph Makaringe.

"It's huge exposure for Lewele. His fight will be on the undercard of the highly anticipated grudge fight between WBA cruiserweight champion Virgil Hill and Henry Maske," said Milenkovic.

"The tournament will be broadcast on pay-per-view by the influential HBO network and in Germany by RTL network."

Milenkovic, who leaves for Germany on Wednesday, will then fly straight back to East London to be at ringside on Sunday when Ali "Rush Hour" Funeka defends his WBC International lightweight belt against All Africa and Ghanaian national champion Yakubu Amidu. Milenkovic will co-promote this fight with Mzimase Mnguni of Eyethu Promotions.

Funeka has 23 knockouts from 27 wins. Amidu is unbeaten after 13 knockouts.
