Black-empowered civil engineering and construction group Sanyati Holdings has expanded its footprint beyond KwaZulu-Natal into Gauteng, Mpumalanga and the Eastern Cape by purchasing two civil engineering specialist companies for about R195million.

The acquisition of Gauteng-based Ruthcon Civil Contractors and GEM Earthworks, operating in Mpumalanga and the Eastern Cape, follows the group's R50million purchase of KZN Piling in December. - I-Net Bridge
