Aimed at those who are stressed, depressed, demotivated, demoralised or even contemplating suicide, the prayer line has had such a positive response from readers that the Reverend Thandi Nhlengethwa and her team from the centre have been kept busy since January.
Even victims of crime, corruption and other societal ills, as well as those battling with a number of different addictions, have been phoning in for help, says Nhlengethwa.
Callers needing further help - in addition to prayer and counselling - have been redirected to other support groups or self-help organisations.
