ACCRA - Barely nine months after Brazil ended Ghana's giant-killing run in last year's World Cup in Germany, the West African country is relishing another opportunity to play the talented South Americans, but this time in a friendly.

ACCRA - Barely nine months after Brazil ended Ghana's giant-killing run in last year's World Cup in Germany, the West African country is relishing another opportunity to play the talented South Americans, but this time in a friendly.

The Ghana Black Stars, as the national soccer side is called, are scheduled to play Brazil in Solna, Sweden, on March 27.

This is one of two friendlies lined up for the Black Stars, the first being in Graz, where they play Euro 2008 co-host Austria on March 24.

Brazil beat Ghana 3-0 in the second round of the World Cup, after being the surprise team to emerge from their group that included eventual winners, Italy, the US and the Czech Republic.

Ghana's French coach Claude Le Roy has named a 20-man squad including two new faces while another old member of the team gets his first call since the coach took over in October.

Olympic team captain, Michael Helegbe of French Ligue 2 side, Guingamp and national team colleague, Alfred Arthur who plays in the domestic league for AshantiGold, both get debut call ups.

Squad: Goalkeepers - Sammy Adjei (Mohadon Sports Ashdod, Israel), Richard Kingson (BB Ankaraspor, Turkey).

Defenders - Hans Adu Sarpie (VFL Wolfsburg, Germany), John Paintsil (West Ham, England), Francis Dickoh (FC Utrecht, Holland), Alfred Arthur (AshantiGold, Ghana), Iliasu Alhassan (Saturn FC, Russia) John Mensah (Rennes, France).
