The heat will be on several teams today when the final round robin matches in the Standard Bank Pro20 cricket series are played.

The happiest outfits will be the Highveld Lions, who play the Warriors in East London, and the Cape Cobras, who have completed their programme, because they are assured of their semifinal spots.

To boot, they have made sure of home games in this weekend's playoffs.

The most anxious team will be the Diamond Eagles, who have also completed their programme. With nine points from five matches, they must await the outcome of today's games to see if they end in the top four.

In East London, the Warriors have a straightforward task when they play the Highveld Lions - they must win to reach the semifinals.

After the weekend's results, Zander de Bruyn's Warriors hold their destiny in their own hands in the final round of the league phase.

A win against the unbeaten Lions will take the Warriors ahead of the Eagles, as well as the losers of the other game on Wednesday, the Titans versus the Dolphins in Benoni.
