Raymond Hack and the South African Football Association apparently had nothing to do with the shambles that saw last night's Bafana Bafana training match against Swaziland switched from Milpark to Ellis Park stadium.
Safa in general, and Hack in particular, were accused at the weekend of failing to organise Milpark on time.
Bafana Bafana coach Carlos Alberto Parreira was hailed as a saviour for arranging Ellis Park as an alternative venue at the 11th hour.
"Raymond Hack had nothing to do with organising either Milpark or Ellis Park. A woman called Gugu Marawa took all responsibility of organising the venue for the friendly to herself," Hack blurted out in front of Safa president Molefi Oliphant, who he insisted "knew all the facts of the matter".
"You can ask people from the communications directorate, Morio [Sanyane], Sifiso [Cele] were there. She demanded the contact numbers of Milpark, I provided them and that was the end of my involvement. I am surprised that when things backfire, it all comes back to me," Hack fumed.
Marawa, who is attached to the commercial wing, yesterday said she had no comment on the matter if it was for publication because she "did not want to get into issues with Raymond".
"Maybe you should speak to Morio, he is the Safa media officer. I could go into details and give you what happened but if it's for a story, I can't comment further," she said.
Meanwhile, the Castle Premiership match between Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns has been rescheduled from March 28 to April 4 because of the friendly between Bafana Bafana and Bolivia.
"The national coach has made us aware that he will be using the same squad he will be using for the Nations Cup qualifier against Chad in the Bolivia friendly," said PSL general manager Andrew Dipela.
The game between Pirates and Bloemfontein Celtic, that was postponed because of rain last Wednesday, has been rescheduled until May 16, with the proviso that both teams are out of the Absa Cup.
