An East London taverner was shot and injured outside his pub on Saturday.
Police said Joshua Mboun, of Goodie's Tavern, was shot when he tried to stop a fight between some of his patrons.
A 31-year-old man was arrested and is expected to face charges in the East London magistrates' court today.
