Mike Mokoena recently admitted to Sowetan that his Free State Stars will win outright promotion to the Castle Premiership and it appears that nothing will preclude them from achieving this feat.

Ea lla koto need just six points from their remaining six matches to crown their return to the top flight, a feat that they are highly likely to achieve with points to spare.

"We are not relaxing but fighting hard to ensure that we are unmovable from our position on top of the log," said Stars' skipper Duncan "The King" Lechesa, yesterday.

Stars tightened their grip at the summit with a 2-1 win over Durban Stars in a Mvela Golden League match that was played at Chatsworth Stadium in Durban over the weekend.

The Free Staters now have 55 points from 24 matches, while Sammy Troughton's University of Pretoria are second on 42 from the same number of outings.

AmaTuks kept in touch with the leaders, thanks to a 3-1 mauling of tail-enders Western Province United at Wynberg Stadium on Saturday. GaRankuwa United eased their relegation woes with a 3-0 win over Bay United at Odi Stadium in Mabopane.
