LAGOS - Nigeria have recalled Newcastle defender Celestine Babayaro in a 37-strong squad to prepare for their next 2008 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Uganda.
Babayaro has been out of the Super Eagles since he was sent away from the 2004 tournament in Tunisia for breaking camp rules.
Everton striker Victor Anichebe, Gabriel Agbonlahor of Aston Villa and Manchester City defender Nedum Onuoha are among eight uncapped players invited by the Nigeria Football Association for the March 24 game. - Reuters
