They accused her of being a sell-out because she supports changing the name of Potchefstroom to Tlokwe.
Such people are a disgrace. They must realise that there is no turning back the transformation agenda.
We have come a long way on a road that was not easy. All those who call Stoltz names are misguided and do not understand democracy.
Stoltz has the right to choose for herself and for the people who voted for her. These people should stop calling her names just because they don't agree with her.
To Stoltz, I say: "Bravo, my chief, do not worry about these hypocrites. Only be concerned about ensuring service delivery in your region."
I have no doubt that you are performing that duty. Tell them how wonderful Ikageng is, and that you have no problem living there, if you choose to.
Many places have changed their names and many are going to change. Democracy is all about change and change is all about development and transformation. Democracy is about respecting different points of view.
The police must take the intimidation threat seriously. We cannot stand back and allow people to insult a leader of Stoltz's calibre.
