Jomo Cosmos should easily brush Maritzburg United aside in their Castle Premiership match at Ackerville Stadium in Witbank tomorrow at 3.45pm.

Ezenkosi have been in scintillating form lately and this has seen them hanging onto their top three position on the log.

Andrew "Jaws of Life" Rabutla, Cosmos' manager, said they were gearing themselves up for what he described as "the mother of all wars".

"Clubs fighting hard to avoid relegation are more dangerous, they throw everything into the game to pocket maximum points.

"We have a lot of respect for United and, what makes matters worse is that they have just appointed a great coach in 'Professor' (Mlungisi Ngubane)," said Rabutla, who confirmed the absence of injured Thapelo "Chappies" Tshilo and suspended Mokete Tsotetsi.

But they welcome back Valery Nahayo from suspension.

Senzo Msimang, The People's Choice publicist, said: "Obviously the plan is to win the game, we have a new coach with new ideas."

United have experienced campaigners in Sandile Ndlovu, King and Enva Wiltwer capable of causing a major upset.

l Mamelodi Sundowns look set to move a step closer to winning their second consecutive Castle Premiership title at the expense Santos tomorrow night.

This comes after Sundowns went on a goalscoring spree when they hammered Black Leopards 4-0 in Polokwane on Wednesday night. The comprehensive victory saw Sundowns extend their unbeaten run in the league to 12 games.
