Inspector Mveli Nhlapo said the man along with two men and a woman had been travelling towards Tembisa when the driver lost control of the VW Golf after a tyre burst.
The man died on the scene.
The three critically injured occupants were taken to Tembisa Hospital, said Nhlapo. - Sapa
