Nissan has just revitalised its entry- level Micra.

But the rejuvenated Micra comes with a higher price. The new price for the entry-level Micra is R99990.

The Micra range was expanded to five derivatives last year; the three-door 1,5litre dCi - diesel - Tekna and the five-door 1,4 litre Acenta, Acenta+, the Acenta Sport and the Visia.

The top-of-the-range model is now the new five-door 1,5 litre dCi Acenta+ and the entry-level Micra is a new version of the 1,4 litre Visia.

"Recognising changing needs of the market and new requirements by car buyers, particularly first-time buyers, we have put together what we believe is a range of options in the Micra range," said Roel de Vries, Nissan South Africa's marketing and sales director.

"We hope the options will meet these needs and requirements perfectly, and will help increase our share of this important market segment."

Standard in the Micra range are anti-lock brakes, brake assist and electronic brake force distribution.
