Feroz Cachalia, Gauteng safety and liaison MEC, said this will also be in preparation for the 2010 World Cup finals and beyond.

Addressing sports administrators in Johannesburg last weekend, Cachalia said the high level of crime was unacceptable.

Cachalia also urged the community to assist the police in identify people doing crime. - Ramatsiyi Moholoa
