We all know that the highly lucrative funeral undertaking business is to die for, so to speak.

We all know that the highly lucrative funeral undertaking business is to die for, so to speak.

Now it seems that those whose job it is to make our departure to the Hereafter dignified and hassle-free do have grave problems of their own.

Undertakers in Soweto are up in arms because they now have to travel to town to book graves.

Their chairman Jacob Motsepe says: "Our customers come first and we cannot afford to put them under a lot of strain."

It is heartening to see that undertakers do really care about the living - if that's what he means by customers, of course.
