Corrupt pastors worship money instead of God

In one of his sermons, a bishop blurted out to his congregation, "When I see you, brethren, I see money."

In one of his sermons, a bishop blurted out to his congregation, "When I see you, brethren, I see money."

He unashamedly continued: "God blesses you according to your offering and how you tithe."

What deception and lies. Nowhere in the Bible does it say money leads people to heaven. It says faith in God will get people to heaven.

If you do not have money, you feel guilty when attending church services because of greedy and sarcastic sermons by some preachers.

Instead of comforting lost souls, some preachers work to enrich themselves.

It is even worse when congregants who are poor cannot afford to bury their loved ones. In such cases, some preachers distance themselves from grieving families.

Money should not be made an issue because God is interested in people's hearts and good deeds, not in their financial status.

Why do pastors compromise the word of God to accumulate riches for themselves?

Genuine believers will be lost to the church as long as congregants are not treated equally.

If people are told the truth, which is God's word, they will willingly give. God does not discriminate. He blesses both the rich and the poor and He loves them all equally.

Mercenary preachers must be stopped.
