Limpopo Softball Association's LimDev Super League matches on Sunday feature some of the relegation candidates and the outcome of their clashes could shed light on who is likely to be axed this season.

The matches are billed for Lebowakgomo diamonds and pitch-off is at 11am.

GaLedwaba Giant Elephants, Seshego Cannons and Mashite Eagles are the teams that are in unenviable positions on the log and can't afford further slip-ups in their few remaining matches.

Cannons do not possess the nerve to beat a team of Mahwelereng Spikes' ilk on Sunday at 1pm.

Defending champions Spikes have looked in sublime form this season and few would bet against a repeat of last season's success.

But Cannons' clash against Eagles at 11am should enthral the supporters.

Elephants will also have a date with Eagles at 1pm.

Third-placed Lebowakgomo Wildbeasts engage Mamaolo Rebels in a match that could go either way at 11am.

The hosts also face a tricky encounter against Moletlane Texas at 3pm.

Fixtures:

Spikes v Texas (11am); Eagles v Cannons (11am); Wildbeasts v Rebels (11am); Spikes v Cannons (1pm); Elephants v Eagles (1pm); Wildbeasts v Texas (3pm); Rebels v Elephants (3pm).
