Bidvest Wits University have made some late adjustments to their crucial Castle Premiership clash against Mamelodi Sundowns at Milpark tomorrow night.

The game will kick off at 8.30pm, an hour later than originally scheduled. It will also be an all-ticket affair. Tickets are available at Computicket and Shoprite-Checkers outlets.

Wits' team manager George Mogotsi said the adjustments were aimed at reducing campus traffic congestion, which was a challenge for their midweek matches.

"We have part-time classes on in the week and most students leave campus at around 7pm and traffic tends to build up with soccer fans going in the opposite direction," Mogotsi explained.

The Students tested their small home venue in a league match against the hugely popular Kaizer Chiefs and there was no reported incident.

Three tiers of perimeter security were thrown around the 5000-seater stadium to deal with ticketing and there were a variety of checks and searches.

Sundowns crowds should be easier to handle. Their fans showed signs of having had an overdose of the game when they stayed away from the Tshwane double-header featuring Sundowns against Vodacom league side Yebo Yes and SuperSport United against City Pillars.

Mogotsi has warned the log leaders to come to Milpark ready for war.

"Sundowns are playing good football with exceptional players under a great coach. However, we will not be sheep to the slaughter," he said. "With everybody on board, we are ready for war."

In the only other midweek game at Loftus, SuperSport United and Jomo Cosmos will be fighting for second spot behind Sundowns at 7.30pm.

Cosmos are six points behind the Brazilians and United are seven points adrift.

There should be enough fireworks as teacher Jomo Sono faces the student, Pitso Mosimane, but one is tempted to predict a draw, the way results have gone lately for the sides.
