Controversial Jozi FM presenter Mbuyiselo Mhlanga, aka Zuluboy, is at it again.

Mhlanga is said to have spent the weekend in jail for allegedly assaulting a friend of his girlfriend.

Police have confirmed that Mhlanga was arrested on Saturday for common assault and sources said he had assaulted the woman whom he accused of stealing during a ritual ceremony at his home.

But the temperamental presenter has denied that he was arrested, though he was captured by photo-graphers alighting from a police van.

When told that police had confirmed his arrest he retorted: "If the police say I was arrested then ask them."

But yesterday Mhlanga walked out of the Protea magistrates' court a free man after the prosecution declined to prosecute.

"The matter has been withdrawn," was all police Captain Philemon Khorombi could say about the case.

While Mhlanga was appearing in court his fans were toyi-toying outside Jozi FM's offices calling for his popular show Vukamakhelwane to be brought back after it had been canned late last year when the station restructured its programmes.
