Senyaka is fuming. The controversial singer has accused pay channel SuperSport of stealing his song Chesa Mpamaas a jingle on SS3 sport channels.
The song is allegedly used in the popular soccer shows Ibhola Lethu on Wednesdays and Engen Premier Soccer on Thursdays, respectively.
"I have been thinking for a long time that someone would approach me to give me credit for my song, but nothing has happened," said Senyaka yesterday.
"They got somebody to play my song, which is unfair and I am not taking it lying down.
"These people are stealing from me. They must pay me because that is my song," he said.
Sello "Chicco" Twala, Senyaka's producer, was also adamant it is their song.
"I produced that song and SuperSport should not claim it.
" I have asked my publisher to take the matter up because SuperSport cannot get away with it," he said
SuperSport's marketing assistant Itumeleng Senne yesterday disputed Senyaka's claims.
"We have been playing the song for almost four years, but now that you say it, both these songs are ringing in my head.
"But I can assure you that the song is from TKZee's Ibhola Lethu and they have no right to claim the song," Senne said.
"It was unnecessary for them to run to the media."
Kabelo Mabalane, a member of the TKZee band, refused to comment.
