Black Leopards are hoping their good run against Benoni Premier United in the Castle Premiership will motivate them to skin the Rabbits in the Absa Cup at Thohoyandou Stadium on Sunday (3.45pm).

Leopards have never lost to United in the league since the Rabbits won promotion to the top flight at the beginning of the season.

But Leopards' German coach Hans-Dieter Schmidt warned yesterday that they will not relax on Sunday.

"We are not going to reach into the past results against them because they will be a different team on Sunday," said Schmidt, who has brought stability to the team.

"We are bracing ourselves for a tough match against United and that is why we are preparing ourselves thoroughly for this game."

While Schmidt was somewhat careful in his comments about the match, United's general manager Simon Ngobeni did not mince his words, declaring they would tame Leopards in their own enclosure.

"Our aim is to go all the way in the Absa Cup and this will not sway our focus in our league campaign," said Ngobeni yesterday.

Lidoda Duvha will miss the services of Thabani Stemmer and Mandla Zwane, who are cup tied, while Teboho Mashaba and Camagu Ncoko are doubtful starters.

But the likes of Robert Ng'ambi, Jabulani Maluleke and Christopher Netshidzivhe could help Leopards to win.

In Limpopo tomorrow, ambitious Limpopo Vodacom Promotional League side Mighty FC face a stern test against Bloemfontein Celtic at Peter Mokaba Stadium (3.45pm).
