LimDev, the Limpopo parastatal that sponsors the Limpopo Softball Association (LSA) Super League for more than R1 million, has put aside incentives for clubs in a move to make the competition much stiffer.

This is in the form of R5000 that will be given to the team that wins the last match of the day at every league programme.

The match should feature the host team.

"This started in Mahwelereng last Sunday and Mahwelereng Spikes got R5 000 after beating Lebowakgomo Wildbeasts [5-2] in the last match of the day," Guillo "S'Dumo" Marapyane, LSA president, said.

Seleteng Giant Killers, who host this Sunday's matches in Seleteng, stand a chance of pocketing R5 000 when they play Moletlane Texas in the last match of the day at 3pm.

Fixtures:

Killers v Seshego Cannons (11am), Texas v Ledwaba Giant Elephants (11am), Red Scorpions v University of Limpopo (11am), Killers v Scorpions (1pm), Texas v University (1pm), Cannons v Elephants (1pm), Scorpions v Cannons (3pm), University v Elephants (3pm), Killers v Texas (3pm).
