The amount is largely unchanged from the total allocated for the first time last year under the ministerial budget of the Presidency.
Corruption and fraud charges against Zuma were thrown out of court last year, but the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) has indicated he may still be charged.
In turn, Zuma has asked the NPA to indicate whether he will be charged or not.
The NPA is pursuing evidence that may link Zuma to arms deal corruption. Zuma could face fraud and corruption charges related to an alleged bribe from the French arms deal company that won a tender in the state's controversial multibillion rand arms purchase.
Zuma's friend and financial advisor, Schabir Shaik, is serving a 15-year sentence for fraud and corruption related to the deal.
