The DA in Oudtshoorn left the council in limbo after refusing to reveal the outcome of disciplinary hearings involving five suspended councillors, Herald Online reported yester day.

The DA in Oudtshoorn left the council in limbo after refusing to reveal the outcome of disciplinary hearings involving five suspended councillors, Herald Online reported yester day.

The suspended councillors were accused of siding with the ANC in a bid to vote out former mayor Jeffrey Swartbooi.

The council has been dysfunctional for almost a month because of political infighting. - Sapa
