Stand together to fight crime

We cannot deny that crime is indeed out of control. It does not help to point fingers at each other. Rather, we should channel that energy into coming up with measures to combat this monster.

For crime to decrease, we must admit as a nation that we do have problems and as a result our country cannot grow rapidly as expected. Therefore, we all need to say enough is enough. Each one of us has a responsibility in this matter.

No increase in the number of policemen will decrease crime. There are a whole lot of factors that need thorough attention before we can even entertain the issue of safety.

The community and youth must join hands with other stakeholders in this fight against crime because the communities are people who experience crime on a daily basis. They are the very same people who sometimes cheer criminals on and look up to them.
