This website has gone from strength to strength since its launch just over a year ago, thanks to you our loyal readers, with latest figures showing an amazing 1,2 million page impressions a month.

But like all products it was starting to look a little tired, so we gave it a makeover.

Bright, breezy and easy to navigate, the new site is designed with you, the reader, in mind.

Our aim is to provide you with the latest in breaking news - both locally and globally.

You'll also see unique multi-media and web extras.
