FNB should have initiated a campaign to show that it is concerned and wants to help solve the rampant crime crisis.
Other big businesses that want to help fight crime must also take note.
Crime affects all of us. The police have to prevent and fight crime with limited resources.
Communities live in constant fear of being robbed by those of whom the song says: "Just leave them, they are trying to make a living . magents ayaphanda."
Without condoning criminality, I am convinced that the socioeconomic conditions of the majority of our people, the gross poverty, also fan the flames of crime.
