The revelation that more than 10million children in South Africa, the richest country on the continent, are malnourished, is a national disgrace.

The revelation that more than 10million children in South Africa, the richest country on the continent, are malnourished, is a national disgrace.

It is disgusting that billions are spent on arms and sports stadiums when more than half the population is almost starving.

Forget the government of 15 years ago. It is this one that is responsible for its people'swellbeing.

As they did about two years ago with the poverty in Zimbabwe, the South African Council of Churches should express concern about poverty in its own flock in its own country.
