Three hammer-fisted youngsters, Kgotla "Bang Bang" Baeti, Warren "The Warrior" Joubert and Daniel "Billy The Kid" Bruwer will throw punches for charity at Emperors Palace on March 20.

Golden Gloves announced last week that these three rising stars will feature in a Box-and-Dine tournament at the Theatre of Marcellus.

Promoter Rodney Berman wants Baeti to fight with South African lightweight champion Irvin Buhlalu in a non-title fight over 10 rounds.

It cannot be a title fight because Baeti, 25, cannot fight for a South African title because he is from Botswana.

The possibility of that fight happening hinges on Buhlalu's manager, Mzimase Mnguni.

Baeti, whose skills are honed by Collin Nathan, boasts 11 knockouts from 12 wins.

He silenced Hugo Manqina in less than a minute two weeks ago.

Berman will announce Joubert's opponent next week. This yet-to-be-defeated youngster has six wins (4 KOs) and a draw.

He pulverised Meshack Khoza in two minutes and 53seconds of the first round two weeks ago.

Joubert's stable-mate at Nick Durandt's camp, Bruwer, 21, could collide with Ruper van Aswegen over eight rounds in the super middleweight division.

That shoot-out is subject to Boxing South Africa's approval.

Berman said one of his main plans for this year is to establish Emperors Palace as the Vegas of African boxing.
