For two months sultry SABC1 continuity presenter Zama Ngcobo has been nursing a broken heart. But now she says she has overcome her break-up with her long-time boyfriend.

She is ready to give love another try.

Ngcobo told Sowetan yesterday that there is an honest, soulmate for her out there with whom she will settle down and have children.

The SABC "talking head", however, would not reveal her ex's name.

"I do not want to talk about the past and so I am talking about the future," said Ngcobo, who joined the public broadcaster last year.

"I am searching for a partner who is ready to settle down with me. I think the time is right for me to settle down and I don't want to waste any more time.

"I want to make it clear, though, that I am not desperate for a partner. I will not settle for just any man who comes my way. I am looking for someone who is confident of himself and God-fearing. Money is not an issue, but he must be loyal and focused in life," said the 23-year old presenter, who hails from Eshowe in KwaZulu-Natal.

Ngcobo joins a list of celebs who have gone public about looking for the men of their dreams.

Before her were Jam Alley and Lesedi FM presenter Twasa, Kelly Khumalo, and Lerato Moloi.

Khumalo and former Muvhango actress Moloi have already found partners - Prosper Mkwaiwa and Nhlanhla Kubeka respectively.
