Hans-Dieter Schmidt, Black Leopards' coach, seems to have turned the corner at Lidoda Duvha, but the German's technical nous will be tested by Jomo Cosmos at Thohoyandou Stadium tomorrow at 3.45pm.

Leopards are on a high after consecutive wins against Maritzburg United (1-0) and Benoni Premier United (2-1).

But the victories were not enough to move Leopards away from the relegation zone, hence the determination to beat Ezenkosi.

"We are encouraged by the latest results, but are not carried away and we have to continue collecting points to better our position on the log," Tshifhiwa Thidiela, Leopards' spokesman, said yesterday.

He described Cosmos as tough customers but insisted that they will match them in all departments.

"We had a good turnout when we played United in Tembisa and we won that match because of the supporters," said Thidiela.

"I therefore urge our supporters in Limpopo to come in big numbers to spur the players on against Cosmos.

"I appeal to them to buy tickets at Shoprite-Checkers stores because no tickets will be sold at the stadium."

Andrew Rabutla, Cosmos' manager, said they were bracing themselves for a tough match against Leopards.

"We anticipate a tough match in Thohoyandou because we don't have a good record against them in their own backyard."

Santos and the Rabbits meet at 8pm today at Athlone Stadium in Cape Town.
