Housing developers in Limpopo have been accused of building low-cost houses using mud instead of cement.
This emerged after villagers from the Blouberg area complained about their houses collapsing.
Blouberg mayor Refiloe Kubyana yesterday said she had ordered that all the 40 defective houses be rebuilt using cement.
A spokesman for the provincial Housing Department yesterday said it would terminate developers' contracts if the allegations were found to be true.
