Hudini Properties, which was accused of playing hide-and-seek, has finally repaid its client.

Hudini Properties, which was accused of playing hide-and-seek, has finally repaid its client.

Mphonyanay Mareme was refunded her R14 800 after she sought the help of Consumer Line.

She said that the company did not refund her deposit after the seller of the house decided not to sell his house.

Mareme responded to an advertisement placed by Hudini late last year to buy a house for R140 800.

When the seller changed his mind, Hudini did not tell Mareme.

"I only found out in November when I inquired if my bank had approved my bond application," Mareme said.

Mareme said that the agent then wanted to sell her another house, but she declined the offer. The agent agreed to refund her deposit, but she did not receive any money.

"Lately, the agent just hangs up when she hears my voice."

After Consumer Line intervened, the money was deposited into Mareme's account within a matter of hours.
