The Titans extended their unbeaten run to seven games when they beat Fidentia Warriors by eight wickets in a SuperSport Series match in Port Eliza- beth at the weekend.

Leading the pack with 125 points from eight games, the Gauteng North lot stand a good chance of lifting the series at the end of the season.

They are 30 points ahead of the second-placed Lions from the same number of games.

The Lions posted a 10-wicket victory over the Dolphins at Potchefstroom in North West.

Both teams are left with two matches each before they wrap up their fixtures.

"They showed composure throughout the four-day competition,'' said Titans coach Richard Pybus yesterday after landing at OR Tambo International Airport.

In Stellenbosch, the match between tail-enders Cape Cobras and the third-placed Diamond Eagles ended in a draw.
