Do you think you have what it takes to cut it as a radio presenter?

If your answer is "yes", then try your luck at Motsweding FM.

The station is looking for new presenters to start work in April. It has 2,9million listeners.

The recruitment of new talent is part of the station's aggressive drive to reclaim its status as a trendsetter.

The talent search will start in Mmabatho today, Rustenburg tomorrow, Taung on February 14, Kimberley on February 15 and Bloemfontein on February 16.

Four lucky people will join the station's lineup to boost its profile and image.

Aspiring presenters should be between 21 and 26 years old, be fluent in reading and speaking Setswana.

They will also need to know what's happening around them - current affairs, politics, economics, fashion and pop trends - and be able to relate to all age groups.

The successful wannabees will have a great personality and will love radio.

Ben Dikobe, pictured, station manager of Motsweding FM, said: "The station is looking for the next Cebo or KB.

"We're moving to the next level and we need fresh talent."

Setswana is more contemporary than ever.

This has become evident from the emergence of talented personalities such as HHP, Tuks and Stoan of Bongo Maffin, to name a few.
