Ligwalagwala FM presenter DJ Drama Queen is in trouble with the law.

DJ Drama Queen, whose real name is Nobuhle Ndlovu, is facing an assault charge after allegedly attacking another woman.

Thembi Lukhele said she was assaulted after demanding that Ndlovu's mother repay R100 owed to her since September.

"I went to her home on Sunday to demand my money.

"Her mother said she did not have any money, but said she would ask Ndlovu to pay me," Lukhele said.

She said she was surprised when Ndlovu and her brother followed her to her house in Longhome, Badplaas, and assaulted her outside her home.

Lukhele said Ndlovu and her brother waited outside her house and when she got out of her car she was attacked.

"Ndlovu and her brother slapped and kicked me.

"I was saved by neighbours who rushed out of their houses when they heard me screaming," said Lukhele.

Elukwatini police Sergeant HMsibi confirmed that a case of assault had been opened against Ndlovu, but said she had not been arrested.

Lukhele said Ndlovu knew about the money her mother owed to her, but bragged about her status as a DJ and said she would not pay Lukhele because she had embarrassed her family by demanding money from her mother.

Rio Mabunda, Ligwalagwala FM's station manager, said he knew nothing of the dispute.

Ndlovu could not be reached for comment because her cellphone was switched off.
