Mvela Golden League side City Pillars have become a happy hunting team for neighbours Dynamos in terms of new signings.

Their new recruit from Mathaithai is Tebogo Mathebula, the stylish midfielder who made a terrific debut for the Dynamites against Durban Stars in Giyani on Sunday.

Mathebula's wizardry in the middle of the park helped Dynamos to dim Stars 5-2.

He is the second player to be snatched by Dynamos from Pillars after the signing of another linkman, Pascal Mabitle, three weeks ago.

Dynamos boss July Malabela also revealed yesterday that he was on the brink of enlisting the services of Pillars defender Kevin Nhlapo.

Dynamos management has been reinforced by former Pillars chief executive Moses Mabele, who has been appointed the side's manager.

"We are trying hard to bring in new players and officials to help us to realise our goal of winning promotion at the end of the season," Malabela said.

"I'm happy with the players who have joined us and I can proudly reveal that we can win promotion this season. Our new coach, Anteneh Eshete, is also doing a wonderful job."

Goals by Kurt Lentjies, Diego Brown, Edson Minga and Warren Budde steered Fidentia Rangers to a comfortable 4-0 success over the inconsistent Witbank Spurs in Stellenbosch in another match played on Sunday.
