Two jazz giants - George Benson, above, and Al Jarreau, top right - will be coming to perform in South Africa in March.

They will be promoting their new album, Give it Up.

This will be a feast for the ears of all those jazz and soul lovers as they listen to the skilled Benson on guitar with the beautiful voice of Jarreau flowing over the melody.

On the album Jarreau has even put lyrics on Benson's fabulous hit, Breeze.

It features brilliant artists such as Jill Scott, Paul McCartney, Patti Austin and Chris Botti.

The first show will be at the Coca-Cola Dome in Johannesburg. The show's next move will be to sunny Durban to perform on March 21 at the International Convention Centre. The Mother City, Cape Town, will then witness this performance on March 22, at the Velodrome.

This is a show not to be missed. It will not be the first visit of these two greats to South Africa, but it will be the first time they will be collaborating on Mzansi shores.

They will be accompanied by their full band, starting with David Witham, who will act as musical director for Benson and Jarreau, alongside Thom Hall on keyboards, Michael O'Neill on guitar and vocals, Stanley Banks on bass and Oscar Seaton on drums.
