Police allege that the teenager, helped by two others, grabbed the girl and dragged her into a forest near Mchubakazi location where he raped her while the other two boys watched.
Captain Jackson Manatha said the boys, from Nolitha High School, wore their school uniforms during the attack.
After the incident, it is alleged that the boys stole the girl's cellphone and her uniform and left her wearing only her underwear.
"She was able to identify the suspects," Manatha said.
Police are still searching for the other two teenagers. - Vuyolwethu Sangotsha
