Nateaze are back.
"We are working hard in the studio, constructing our comeback to prove we mean business this time around," said Monwabisi Faku, the group's leader.
Their new album is scheduled to hit the shelves before the end of March.
The Bloemfontein band has had its ups and downs, but the four-man outfit seems to have got their act together.
"We are more mature now and the album will blow everyone away. We want to show people who wrote us off that we still have what it takes."
Judging by their performance at the recent Mangaung Cultural Festival (Macufe), it is safe to say Nateaze still lives and delivers with dignity.
"We are also working on nurturing young talent and producing songs for some of the well- known groups in Bloemfontein," said Faku.
The group started with nine members and sold thousands of copies of their first offering, simply titled Nateaze .
In 2004 they released their second album, C2.
"But we withdrew the album from the shelves because there was disagreement between us. However, I can safely safe we are now back with a bang."
