Alleged druglord and friend of national police commissioner Jackie Selebi, Glenn Agliotti, appeared in the Johannesburg magistrates' court yesterday.
Agliotti is currently out on R500000 bail following his arrest in November last year. He is charged with the 2005 murder of a mining magnate Brett Kebble.
Dressed in a designer black suit, a white shirt and a red tie with his hands clasped behind his back, Agliotti looked calm when he appeared before magistrate Simon Radasi.
The case was postponed to June 20 after the prosecutor, Gerrie Nel, had asked for a postponement, saying the state was involved in extradition proceedings to ensure other suspects appeared in the matter.
Makhosini Nkosi, spokesman for the National Prosecuting Authority, said he could not confirm whether countries in which other suspects were located would cooperate.
Agliotti is facing further charges of drug trafficking after a multimillion-rand drug bust early this month.
He has already appeared in the Alberton magistrates' court on a charge of drug trafficking.
Agliotti made to wait
