SPCA should stop snooping

It is frustrating news that the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) is [investigating cruelty allegations in connection with] Tony Yengeni slaughtering a bull for his cleansing ceremony when he came out of prison.

The SPCA has no right to dictate how Africans should conduct their culture and religion.

As Africans, Yengeni included, we have ways in which we appease, thank or celebrate our ancestors. In every ceremony the way in which the killing is done has to be different so as to be aligned with that ceremony.
