Hoedspruit police have not yet found or arrested two men who allegedly kidnapped a 42-year-old woman, her 12-year-old daughter and 10-year-old son last week.
Superintendent Moatshe Ngoepe of the Mopani police said the suspects ransacked the victims' house in Hoedspruit and then drove the victims in their own vehicle to an isolated area. They then repeatedly raped the woman in front of her shocked children.
Ngoepe said the suspects then drove off. The victims walked to a nearby road where they found help and reported the matter to the police. - Riot Hlatshwayo
