A 52-year-old man from Blydeville township in North West will appear in the Lichtenburg magistrates' court today after attempting to force his common-law wife to have sexual intercourse with his neighbour's dog.
It is alleged that the man, on the night of December 5, was making love with his 48- year-old wife in their house in Blydeville. The man then left his wife and pretended to go to the toilet outside.
When he came back, he had the neighbour's dog in tow.
It is alleged that he tried to force the dog to have sex with his wife.
But when he saw that the results were not satisfactory because the dog could not have an erection, he allegedly forced the dog's head between his wife's legs so that it could lick her private parts.
The woman was only able to report the matter the next day.
The man was arrested and was released on R200 bail by the Lichtenburg magistrates' court.
